AyurVAID Hospitals Receives QAI Accreditation for its Transition Care Centre
AyurVAID Hospitals, the premier name in precision Ayurveda, has once again made headlines. In an unprecedented feat, the AyurVAID Hospital in Domlur, Bengaluru, has become the first Ayurveda hospital to secure accreditation from the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI) under the Transition Care Centre (TCC) Standard on May 20, 2023.
This accreditation symbolizes the harmonious blend of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and modern healthcare practices. QAI, the only organization in India to offer TCC certification and a member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), awarded this recognition to AyurVAID, appreciating its unwavering commitment to creating an ecosystem of standardized and validated Ayurvedic and integrative clinical protocols.
AyurVAID, under the guidance of Rajiv Vasudevan, MD & CEO, has been instrumental in providing step-down-care for patients suffering from a range of health issues. These include cancer, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, trauma rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric care, and even COVID-19 rehabilitation.
The QAI accreditation adds another feather to the cap of AyurVAID Hospitals, which has been a relentless advocate for quality systems in Ayurveda medical care. In the past, AyurVAID became the first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospital in 2010 and now is the third healthcare provider in India to secure the QAI-TCC accreditation.
As Ayurveda’s popularity continues to rise on the global stage, AyurVAID Hospitals is playing a crucial role in shaping the narrative. It is at the vanguard of pushing Ayurveda into the mainstream and redefining its relevance in today’s healthcare scenario.
